Delete your account

Apps this applies to

• CarKey Partner (driver partners)
• CarKey: Hire a Driver (customers): coming soon

Option 1: delete inside the app

Partner app: go to Profile → Delete account.

What happens next:

• Your account is deactivated immediately and you stop receiving bookings.
• Any unpaid balance is settled before final deletion.
• You can cancel the request until an admin finalises it.
• If you have a trip in progress, the request is blocked until the trip ends.
• An admin completes the deletion on the CarKey admin site.

Customer app (coming soon): go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

Option 2: ask support (partners)

Email support@getcarkey.in with the subject Delete my CarKey account. Tell us the phone number registered on your partner account. You do not need to log in to make a request.

We verify you through the phone number registered on your account. Please do not email your licence, PAN or bank numbers or documents. We never need them to delete your account.

How long it takes

We aim to complete deletion within a few days, and always within 30 days of your request.

What is deleted (partner app)

• Your profile: name, phone number, profile photo, driving licence number and date of birth
• All documents you uploaded: licence photo, police verification certificate, proof of address, PAN and UPI QR
• Bank or UPI payout details
• Your last location
• Family contacts, notification tokens and document-update requests
• Your login account, unless the same phone number is also used as a customer or admin account

What is kept, with personal details removed

• Trip records, ratings and comments, and chat messages
• Wallet, payout, commission and referral-bonus records
• A deletion log that holds only your driver ID and the dates of the request and deletion

We keep trip and payment records only for as long as accounting, tax and legal requirements need, then delete them.
