Who can join

• Adults aged 18 or over who hold a valid driving licence.
• Drivers comfortable using a smartphone app.
• Drivers who can complete our verification.

Partners are independent professionals, not employees of CarKey. Meeting these criteria does not guarantee approval.

What you need

• Driving licence number
• Date of birth
• A photo of your licence
• A police verification certificate, which you apply for yourself and upload
• A proof of address that shows your name and current address, for example an electricity, water or gas bill, a rental agreement, a bank statement, a passport, a voter ID, a ration card or a property tax receipt

PAN and bank or UPI details are asked later, when you set up payouts, and are not needed to sign up.

How verification works

We check your driving licence details on the government Parivahan portal. You provide the police certificate and proof of address yourself. We review all three before we activate your account, and you can see your verification status in the app. We may ask you to resubmit a document if it is unclear.
